We have an immediate opportunity for "Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer
- Golang
Location: Osterley 2-3 days onsite per week
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: 70 GBP per hour

What you'll bring:

- Familiar with DevSecOps Engineering as well as a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and Agile methodologies.
- Understand and experienced in rolling out security best practices, penetration and/or chaos testing experiences are welcome
- Clear understanding of common security risks at each layer of software and platform lifecycle, such as Cloud security, node security, kernel security, container security, CICD pipeline security, software security, etc.
- Sceptic mindset that enjoys challenging assumptions, beliefs, and bias
- Detail-oriented to spot misconfiguration of tools and misunderstandings between teams
- Insatiable desire to learn, to explore and to stick with problems
- Curious and enthusiastic about security, and always security minded and interested in "hacking" a system with a good intention e.g., via simulation
- Good analytical and communication skills, and always having a sense of collaboration in order to work with different teams to make them aware of good security practices.
- Significant engineering experience using Cloud (AWS and GCP preferred) and Kubernetes.
- Programming and scripting experience, Golang preferred, and open to learn new technologies
- A desire to work in a close-knit team and find ways to collaborate that bring the most out of yourself and others
