**Role Purpose**

Responsible for the relationship management and development of customer accounts within the company. In addition, to develop new business, which delivers growth and profit aligned to the company and wider group’s strategy, values and KPIs.

**Key accountabilities & responsibilities**:
**Account support**
- Account support for several accounts including the responsibility for weekly price calculations, maintaining of trade plan, agreeing promotional calendars, achieve pre-set customer margin requirements, and to manage the daily and weekly administration for these accounts.
- Support and development of existing customer relationships to ensure we are strategically aligned to our key partners.
- Accountable for the development of new business working with our finance team to ensure it is aligned to our key strategies and values.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely communication is delivered both externally and internally ensuring we deliver high levels of customer service.

**Forecasting and budgeting**
- Responsible for ensuring all activities are within budget and accurate forecasting is maintained throughout the year.
- Working with the senior commercial manager and commercial insights manager utilising data to support commercial decisions.

**Marketing and data insight**
- Working with the team to utilise customer data to create insights in retail sales.
- Undertake store visits and report findings on key categories.
- Highlight any promotional / price / store changes and review promotions to understand impact and profitability.

**Cross functional working**
- Support the procurement team to ensure stock control, waste, yield and claims are controlled to deliver the business unit’s KPIs.
- Working with the people team ensuring there is a cascade of customer information regarding any people requirements.
- Working with the technical teams on new product development and customer specifications.

The role involves potential travel, requires flexibility and the ability to work under pressure often managing a number of critical issues at the same time.In addition, the post holder is required to understand and adhere to Keelings International Company Values, and reflect these values in both behaviour and performance
