Position: Production Supervisor

Overtime: Available in Peak Seasons (Spring and Summer)

Location: Charlecote, Warwickshire.

Shift: Monday - Friday. 8am to 4.30pm in low season.

Earlier and/or later starts in peak season.

Weekend work required on specific dates.

**About the Role**

We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor to join the business to assist the company’s operational activities. Ensuring all horticulture production is completed in time to display at our clients’ events.

**Task and Responsibilities**

To oversee, supervise and lead a team of full time, part time and seasonal labour.

To plan requirements and allocate tasks.

Ensure staff under supervision are working in a safe and diligent manner.

Prepare stock of a high standard for our clients.

Order materials and communicate directly with suppliers.

Liaise and communicate with key people within the business.

Work to deadlines, some of which can be very short.

Maintain stock for future use.

**Skills required**:
**Essential** - This role would suit someone with a background in horticulture

**Essential** - Experience in overseeing a small team of staff

**Essential** - Physically fit due to the nature of the work within this role

**Desirable** - Horticulture qualifications

**Desirable** - Forklift licence or undertake training to acquire (essential).

**Desirable** - Spraying certificates PA1 and PA6 or undertake training to acquire (essential).

**Desirable** - Experience in a greenhouse environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
