We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our Team.

**About the Role**

Your role within the SHEQ team will be to support our Site Teams, providing advice and guidance in compliance with all applicable legislation and industry best practice and supporting the Group's overall SHEQ strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertake regular site inspections and engagement visits to evaluate the effectiveness of the SHEQ Management Systems and ensure reports are adequately closed-out with corrective actions completed within agreed timescales.
- Provide comprehensive support to operational teams to ensure the identification and management of SHEQ risks and opportunities are considered at the work planning stage.
- Support and facilitate liaison with Clients and enforcing authorities to maintain their confidence & respect.
- Support the preparation and cascade of SHEQ Alerts / Bulletins and other communication campaigns.
- Ensure all works are undertaken following relevant compliance obligations, best practices and Company standard working procedures.
- NEBOSH General and/or NEBOSH Construction or equivalent Health and Safety Qualification with a minimum of Tech IOSH membership
- Detailed knowledge and experience of CDM
- The ability of conducting Accident / Incident reports
- Liaising with HSE and other relevant regulatory authorities
- Demonstrable experience in the maintenance of management systems to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Have experience in construction and demolition activities
- Experience in reviewing and assisting in the development of Method Statements / Risk Assessments.
- Self-motivated - improvement orientated with a desire to undertake any other relevant Learning and Development deemed necessary to enhance performance and maintain their competencies through CPD processes
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral, and the ability to deal with all of the business hierarchy
- The ability to thrive in pressure situations and work on own initiative when required
- The ability to empathise and communicate with people
- Excellent organisation, communication, IT and time management skills
- You will be career driven, resilient and have a strong work ethic
- You will be a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the company's long-term future and success
