Overview:
As a Solution Designer Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work at one of Europe’s busiest airports. You will work alongside Project Managers and Senior Solution Designers to capture customer requirements and design network solutions to meet business requirements. You will have the opportunity to learn about networking technologies relating to LAN, WLAN, IP Telephony and network security. You will be responsible for supporting and contributing to all aspects of solution design activity - this means you will be working on real world challenges.

**What You Will Do**
- Learn how to capture customers network requirements together with SITA Project Managers and Senior solution designers.
- Learn how to create or edit network Design documents following templates and Heathrow Network Standards fulfilling the customers requirements and following the SITA Processes.
- Learn how to create or edit Network diagrams in Microsoft VISIO
- Learn how to create appropriate implementation plan instructions for the Deployment team
- Work closely with the Solution Design team, Project Managers, Technical Leads and Deployment engineers.
- You would need to learn all SITA/Heathrow processes and standards and how to follow them.
- You will learn about a complex and advanced LAN Campus network.
- Documentation work and technical writing using MS Word, Excel and Visio.

Qualifications:
**Who You Are**
- Have some understanding of IP addressing and networks.
- Have some understanding of Local Area Network topologies.
- Have some understanding of the functionality of Routers, Switches, Firewalls and Load balancers and where they fit in the LAN topology.
- Good communication skills
- Good team player, not being afraid to ask questions, we all help each other.
- Eager to learn.
