**Your new company**
Hays are working in partnership with a successful wholesaler based near Maldon in Essex. This company has been performing extremely well over the past few years and are looking to add to their team and expand the credit control function.
**Your new role**
You will be working as part of a team of 3 and alongside another credit controller will be responsible for managing a varied customer portfolio. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively chase and collect any overdue cash
- Maintain a high volume ledger
- Daily banking
- Cash allocations
- resolving invoice and pricing queries
- Liaising with credit insurers on overdue debts
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need to have similar previous experience in a Credit Control or AR capacity and be a confident communicator. You will have strong attention to detail and excellent IT skills. You will be a team player and be happy to support the wider finance teamin an ad hoc capacity. You will also need access to a vehicle due to the location of the business.
