Despatch Operative

**Job purpose**:
Due to growth we are seeking to add to our team in the despatch department we operate in a face-paced environment and this is a key role within our business.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Material Stock control
- Checking stock levels
- Manuel picking customer orders
- Receipting deliveries
- Ensuring housekeeping and SOP adherence is up to standard
- An eye for detail
- A reasonable level of English
- Ability to read and complete paper workBasic computer skills
- A forklift licence (Counter balance) is preferred but not essential/ training can be provided
- Some despatch or stores experience is preferred but not essential

**Shift pattern available**:
**Monday to Friday 6am-2pm or Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm**

**The starting hourly rate is £9.90 per hour or £10.45 with a valid Forklift Licence we also pay an additional £1.10 per hour attendance bonus. Overtime is payable at time and a half after 37.5 hours a week**
