We are constructing a state-of-the-art underground mine to enable the extraction of Polyhalite - a unique multi-nutrient fertiliser - along with the necessary infrastructure both above and below ground that will be required for transport, processing, and distribution.

**POLY4 is our flagship multi-nutrient fertiliser product **. Made from polyhalite, it contains four of the six macro-nutrients and many micronutrients that are essential to plant growth. It allows farmers to maximise their crop yield, increase quality and improve soil structure with one simple product.

**Job Description**:

- Join us as a Counsellor on a 12-month fixed term contract, where you support our employees and contractors to make positive changes, working through their issues which are preventing optimal wellbeing. You will provide advice and support to proactively approach mental health interventions, ensuring a positive impact on the employee’s health and well-being.

**Your Key Accountabilities will include**:

- Promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
- Engage with employees to support their mental wellbeing.
- Liaise with external agencies and professionals to enhance employee support (e.g. EAP services).
- Support leaders and staff to respond effectively to employee welfare.
- Provide support to the Occupational Physician on case management referrals.
- Collaborate with Occupational Health to promote health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Build and foster a professional relationship with employees to provide guidance and assistance on mental health and wellbeing.
- Support employees to make positive changes to promote optimal wellbeing.
- Identify key triggers and trends that impact employee wellbeing and develop reports to demonstrate areas of improvement.
- Facilitate debriefing sessions following critical incidents.
- Identify areas of improvement for psychological wellbeing.
- Develop risk management strategies for reducing mental health hazards to individuals in the workplace.
- Assist with stress risk assessments.
- Assist with preparation and delivery of training and information materials on health and wellbeing related topics to the project.
- Development of preventative programs.
- Educate and support staff on their journey to self-ownership of health and wellbeing.
- Assist on case managements relating to mental health.
- Assist line managers in supporting employees who are struggling.
- Be willing to travel to each of our sites.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary degree in relevant discipline (Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Mental Health Nurse).
- Minimum 3 years counselling experience demonstrating the ability to work professionally and with high-risk individuals.

**Technical Knowledge**:

- A high level of resilience to work in an environment that is exposed to high-risk support that could include post trauma care, domestic/family violence, anxiety, and depression etc.
- Ability To work in a high performing culture including ability to demonstrate a high level of counselling within a set of frameworks and KPIs.
- Experience in cognitive, emotional, and behavioural assessments.
- An enthusiastic and positive nature that can work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Be registered with the NMC or BACP would be preferred.
- Can demonstrate evidence based professionally informed judgement in dealing with sensitive issues.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Great presentation skills.
