The Day Case Unit is seeking to appoint a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant. The applicant is required to be enthusiastic, flexible, and have some surgical experience, preferably within the Day Case setting. We are a highly motivated team that has achieved high standards of quality patient care, which have been recognized through our Staff Excellence Awards and Chief Nurse Awards. We adhere to the Trust's CARE values and prioritize patient safety.

The ward currently has the capacity to see approximately two hundred patients per week, who undergo a wide variety of surgical procedures. These procedures cover at least ten different specialties, making every day unique and the job role varied. The ward offers a fast-paced and exciting working environment. The applicant will need excellent time management skills, flexibility, and the ability to work well within a team.
