Warehouse Trainer

JJob Title: Warehouse Trainer

Reports To: Training Manager

Location: Teynham but flexibility across all sites will be needed

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 8:00-17:00

Role Summary:
As part of the Training Team, this role will help deliver our training strategy and provide training and on-the-job support for business operations across the Warehouse.

To carry out all tasks in a timely and efficient manner to ensure continuity of business for ISS and our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

- Plan training in a timely manner to ensure priority deadlines are met
- Gain knowledge and understanding of the equipment in the Warehouse to enable training delivery
- Assist with assessing competence and raise any concerns with the relevant supervisor/manager
- Ensure any refresher training is delivered in a timely manner and against training plan
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other necessary training material
- Ensure all training design and delivery is compliant with any relevant technical and safety standards
- Train employees on correct use of scanner guns and on systems, processes within the Warehouse
- Train employees on Manual Handling awareness and tasks and assess competency within a set time frame
- Provide training and keep up to date training records for MHE users which are legally compliant
- To monitor adherence to processes and procedures and provide re-training or escalate to management as required
- Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOW’s and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
- To assist colleagues when required and to behave in a harmonious, courteous manner at all times
- Carry out inductions for new starters

Qualifications and Skills:

- Skills (Communication, presentation, punctuality)
- 2 years experience of training preferable
- Manual Handling Train the Trainer
- Level 3 in Education and Training (Desirable)

**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
