Hours: 7.5 - 10 hours per week plus annual leave and short notice sickness cover

We currently require enthusiastic, flexible and reliable individuals to join our team of dedicated telephonists based within the Borders General Hospital.

This post will involve answering internal and external calls as well as general switchboard and administration duties. There is the added responsibility of internal emergency calls coming through.

Flexibility is key given the service is available 24 hours a day

Post holder will be required to work a variety of shifts including evening, weekend and over night shifts based on a 7 week rolling rota.

Shifts consist of 7am to 3pm | 9am to 5pm | 5pm to 11pm | 11pm to 7am

Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided

Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37.5 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata
