**Job Overview**:
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will provide essential overnight support and care to an individual with varying needs, including physical and learning disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of one client throughout the night, providing both emotional and practical support as required. This role demands a compassionate, vigilant, and dedicated individual who can respond to the needs of our client with patience and professionalism.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Safety**:

- Monitor the safety and well-being of the client throughout the night.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the client is comfortable and safe.
- Respond promptly to any incidents, emergencies, or needs of the client.

**Personal Care**:

- Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting and hygiene as needed.
- Provide assistance with mobility throughout the night.

**Support and Companionship**:

- Offer emotional support and companionship to the client.
- Engage in conversation and activities that promote well-being and reduce anxiety.
- Provide reassurance and comfort to the client, should they become distressed or experiencing difficulties.

**Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided, incidents, and observations.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports as required by company policies and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with the day staff to ensure continuity of care.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably in a waking night setting.
- Care Certificate.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain awake and alert throughout the night shift.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
