Location: NEWCIS Office Mold. May be required to travel to cover other sites and events as required

A trial period can be offered and a chance to come and meet the team

**PURPOSE OF ROLE**:
To provide essential support working in conjunction with the Carer Wellbeing Officers to provide BTG services and Carer Support grant services to carers who are referred into the charity. The BTG liaison 0fficer will support the wellbeing officers to process the carers BTG respite service, answering carers queries in relation to this service and work with the administration supervisor to process services under the carer support fund and enter them onto the charities data base.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Facilitate BTG for carers across all counties, completing the paperwork and entering details onto Charity Log and appropriate spread sheets. This requires liaising with the Wellbeing officers and carers to ensure that a good quality service is provided. Invoices checking will also be required.

Dealing with carers who may walk into the centre and need information packs, booking appointments with wellbeing officers, supporting the duty rota if required and entering the information provided onto Charity log.

Liaise with the team leaders to ensure carer contact deadlines are being met.

Administer the carer support fund with wellbeing officers, keeping records in accordance to the grant regulations, placing orders for goods.

Booking carers into Prestatyn Holiday Home and working with CVL manager to ensure that carers receive the right information about the property, confirm bookings and that payments have been made appropriately.

Support wellbeing officers with events throughout the year these include carers week, carers rights day and Christmas activities. This may include attending events, ordering supplies, taking bookings and liaising with carers.

Maintain all NEWCIS monitoring procedures in line with The Charity Excellence Quality Assurance Framework and update the data base.

Minute taking at meetings as required and maintaining supplies of refreshments for the offices and liaise with the company secretary for stationary supplies.

Carrying out general office duties in line with company policies such as handling petty cash.

Ensuring post sorted each day and is given to appropriate staff members and outgoing post posted.

Support the organisation of the newsletter, which includes the franking of the envelopes and arrangement of collection of the post bags.

Be responsible for the health and safety checks at locking up ensuring all equipment is unplugged, fire doors closed and all lights off. Complete appropriate paperwork to show that the checks have been completed.

Maintaining and ensuring confidentiality over personal information relating to individual users of NEWCIS and company information in line with the General Data Protection

Carry out such other duties as may be required, which are consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the post.

Agree to complete QCF level 3 in social care or Advice and Assistance if a suitable qualification in social care has not already been taken.
