**Overview of Citi**:

**Role Overview**:
Citi launched a Data Transformation program to become a data driven organization and to improve the quality of the information the bank produces to ensure the bank's information is complete, accurate and timely for external and internal users. The Data Transformationprogram is a key component of Citi's overall Transformation program.
The Institutional Clients Group Data Governance Office (ICG DGO) partners with Citi's Enterprise Chief Data Office (EDDO), ICG stakeholders and Global Functions to manage, control, and govern ICG originated data in driving the execution of Citi's Data Strategyto achieve regulatory compliance and to enhance data driven service offerings. The ICG DGO, aligned with the Citi's ECDO drives the strategy, planning, execution and oversight for the adoption of Policy and Standards.
The ICG DGO executes the enterprise level processes and develops business specific procedures to ensure that coverage and implementation of Citi's Data Strategy and Policy support business priorities and enterprise data driven regulatory commitments acrossthe organization. The Program governs the data quality efforts as part of Citi's Transformation that are underway within the ICG Businesses, Operations, and Technology, and is driving a fundamental change in the organizational culture and data ownership. Thisis a high visibility and impactful role that provides leadership in support of Citigroup's data quality program, as well as other critical regulatory commitments and deliverables. Enhancing data quality is a top priority at Citi leading the transformationfrom a product-centric, vertically aligned organization to a customer and service centric data-driven organization. The end-state for enterprise data will be enabled through several critical capabilities including data domains, data models, data governance,foundational data capabilities, and a data domain operating and delivery model.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and coordinate firmwide data management change initiatives and regulatory enterprise commitments (e.g. FRBNY/FRS, OCC) within ICG including planning, implementation, communications, training, compliance monitoring, and the establishment of a controlleddata management environment
- Increase business awareness, confidence and trust in data assets and the enterprise data governance program by providing support and guidance to the ICG businesses
- Establish and provide oversight and governance of the data operating model to ensure data management practices are in place (e.g. data quality requirements are defined, documented, data controls are effective, etc.)
- Partner with the ECDO, ICG DGOs, and ICG O&T Data Leads to fully adopt, integrate and operationalize foundational data capabilities
- Collaborate with the ICG Line of Business DGOs to ensure best practices are established and followed on Citi's data quality control framework
- Accountable for the execution of data management control oversight of processes, artifacts and evidence to ensure internal controls are designed effectively and testable to mitigate risk in data driven processes
- Develop and implement plans for Critical Data Elements (CDEs) to comply with data quality requirements defined by data domains to meet consumption requirements, including the assessment and implementation of front-end data entry preventative controls
- Collaborate with the ICG Line of Business DGOs and other key data management roles to ensure that data quality measurement and ongoing monitoring are implemented by the Businesses, Operations, and Technology for CDEs and information assets supporting datadomains and key business processes
- Participate in the nomination and registration of authorized sources
- Create and establish detailed procedures to enable governance of data management processes
- Responsible for quality assurance and oversight of the execution of change activities including documentation of process flows, implementation of Data Quality rules, and documentation of system lineage
- Prioritize, manage and execute data governance related activities and initiatives on an ongoing basis
- Implement effective internal data management controls by monitoring business data quality reports with associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the ICG Businesses
- Partner with the ICG Line of Business DGOs and other key data management roles to ensure that activities and deliverables are established to improve data management KPIs
- Effectively manage ad hoc requests, upcoming projects, status preparation and communications for deliverables
- Ability to influence and negotiate to facilitate change, as well as employ matrix management skills in order to ensure solutions meet business requirements as well as influence others without direct authority

**Knowledge/Experience**:

- Significant experience in a project or program management role in the successful implementation of projects (preferably large scale implementations), operational process change and improvement, preferably within capital markets and/or investment bankingand regulatory change initiatives
- Industry experience in data governance, data management, and regulatory initiatives
- Financial markets product knowledge which includes knowledge of front-to-back trade flows processing and broad range of investment banking products and trade lifecycles is desirable.

**Skills**: - Expert level experience with SDLC processes - Agile, Waterfall methodologies
- Expert level experience with managing projects, tasks, workflow and reporting
- Strong analytical skills and experience in leading change management and/or regulatory transformation initiatives related to data-driven processes
