**PRU HLTA**
Qualiteach is currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit who is looking for an experienced PRU HLTA, who is able to start with them immediately on a full-time basis. They are looking for someone who is able to build a strong rapport with their students andother staff members and be able to act as a role model. For this role you will be required to cover lessons when the class teacher is absent and work alongside them to plan lessons when pre authorised leave is coming up. When covering the lessons you willneed to take control of the class and making sure that everyone is taking part in the lesson. When you are not covering and planning lessons, you will be required to support students in class and also manage behaviour when needed. The ideal PRU HLTA for thisrole must have had previous experience, or looking to take the next step in their career and not be phased by anything that may come their way.
**Pupil Referral Unit**
This Pupil Referral Unit is located in the South London borough of Southwark and caters for girls and boys aged between 10-16 years who have been removed from a mainstream school on a temporary or permanent basis. They currently have 40 students who attendand in their last Ofsted in June 2018, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
