I am recruiting for a **Registered Manager** to join a fantastic client of mine in their Residential Living Service which supports adults with **Learning Disabilities, Mental Health** and **Challenging Behaviour** in Romford. You will be responsible for the effective management of all services within the 2 Residential Care Homes, including the line managing front-line staff.
You will provide effective leadership and management to a well-established team focusing on enhancing life and social skills for independent living, assisting my clients service users to pursue their goals and interests, and to encourage social inclusion andactivities.
This is a special opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to join a team where the support network within the company is unmatched, given the longevity of the staff exceeding years within the company.
**Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager**:

- Drive planning activities within the service, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing turn around action plans as may be necessary.
- Devise, review and update care plans and risk assessments for the residents
- Oversee systems and ensure the safe administration of medication by care staff through management and training. Ensure medication records are complete and correct.
- Using sound accounting principles, ensure that the resources of the residents and the organisation are used appropriately, and clear detailed records kept
- Successfully lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service.Work to continuously improve staff competence, ensure ownership of all staff issues and speedy and effective conflictresolution.
- Responsible for managing any staff changes, as appropriate e.g. starters, leavers, additional hours etc.,. And reporting these to directors.
- Responsible for participating in supervision and target planning meetings.
- Deliver effective, professional and commercially focused briefings and supervision meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting & communications flow up/down is effective.

**Register Manager Requirements**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent. Holds relevant CMI/NVQ/QCF Level 4/5 or other business/management qualification.Other relevant professional memberships and/or specialist qualifications.
- 5 years’ experience working in a Learning Disability/Dual Diagnosis environment.
- 3 years’ relevant management experience
- Service user/families/friends/advocates Relationship Building/Management
- Professionals/Stakeholders Relationship Building/Management
- Leadership, communication, motivational skills.
- Able to manage challenges and supervise staff
- Verbal & Written Communication & Presentation
- Care planning and risk assessment
- Staff training
- Competency with IT systems
- Business Planning & Process
