**Salary**: Up to £35,000 per annum
Acorn is recruiting for a Technical Advisor on behalf of their client, which manufactures structural flooring and roofing products as well as building envelope systems that are specified and sold for use in UK and worldwide building projects.
The Technical Service department role is to answer enquiries on technical declarations and design advice with regards all products and systems within the company's portfolio to clients, specifiers and customers (internal and external) throughout the buildingdesign process, the construction phase and the operational phase. Reporting on trends and activity in this area is vital to increase sales and drive product development
Principally, your job is to enhance customer satisfaction, grow specification sales, and reduce risk to the business. You will provide technical support on construction products and their use to business relations in the widest possible sense, in order to supportand enhance (value added) sales. You will also create project specifications and calculations to comply with client product recommendations, client needs, building regulations, and any insurance requirements.
