Working as an Freight Coordinator based in Uxbridge you will deliver freight solutions for by managing the file from start to finish. You will work with freight moving through Europe, The America's and the Far East.

**Description**

The Freight Coordinator, based in Uxbridge, is a heavily admin based role and your tasks will include:

- Achieving transportation activities
- Complete tasks according to set processes
- Ensure on-time delivery of cargo by tracking loads through to delivery and providing updates
- Be a problem solver and find solutions for all aspects of freight
- Provide world class customer service, and take ownership for assigned customers
- Actively identify savings opportunities through load consolidation activities
- Communicate with shippers and suppliers to ensure IATA compliance
- Enter accurate data into system for booking, tracking and billing shipments
- Complete invoicing to customers as per the company standards
- Ensure all business is conducted in accordance with the company's operational and safety procedures

**Profile**

In order to be considered for the role of Freight Coordinator, you should have:

- Have recently worked within a Freight operations department
- Experience of Sea or Air freight trade-lanes and markets (Americas/APAC/Europe)
- Good knowledge of IATA Regulations
- If you have previously used Cargowise, it would be a distinct advantage
- Working knowledge of transport documentation, carrier invoices, and billing procedures
- Live in an area that is easily commutable to Uxbridge

**Job Offer**

Once training is complete, this is a Hybrid role meaning you can have flexibility

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30

**Salary**: £27 000 to £32 000 depending on experience
