**THE JOB**

To manage the yard, for incoming and despatching of all items, whilst keeping the appropriate displays up to date, relevant, clean and presentable. Delivering goods & machinery to our customers in a timely manner and organise deliveries of machinery to go on wagons, by liaising with 3rd party hauliers and the Machinery Sales Team.
- Actively supporting other team members to ensure targets and tasks are completed.

- Follows company procedures to complete major tasks without assistance.
- Works to get routine daily tasks done in time and to the standard required.
- Follows through customer enquiries, requests and problems and deals with them promptly.
- Confidently deals with customer problems and is able to establish customer needs.
- Identifies with customers and understands their needs and priorities,
- To be aware of the risks in the work environment and their potential impact on self, colleagues, customers and visitors and take action to address them.
- Liaise with the Machinery Sales Team and 3rd Party hauliers for deliveries.
- Ensure any deliveries required on the van are done in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep the yard tidy, presentable with stock rotation.
- Adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.
- To ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED**

**Essential**:

- Team player, with a genuine interest in helping others
- Continuously looking to improve the yard areas and displays
- Qualified Forklift Truck and Telehandler Driver with experience in actively loading and unloading vehicles
- Full UK drivers licence so able to do Van deliveries to customers
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to liaise between a number of departments
- Exceptional customer service skills as dealing with many internal and external customers

**Desirable**:

- Holds a tachograph card
- Agricultural knowledge
