The Sweet People Ltd is a family run business in Leighton Buzzard and are currently looking for x2 Machine Operators to run their chocolate depositing machinery for an **evening shift** to expand their overall production capability.

**Working Hours: 3pm - 10pm (30 min lunch & 2 x 10 minute breaks).**
- Please note the first 2-3 months will be on a 9am-5pm basis for training purposes until competent. _

The Sweet People Ltd is a market leader in the production of branded confectionery for promotional campaigns, events, and product launches.

We design, print & cut, finish, assemble, pack, and distribute everything in-house in Leighton Buzzard. We make multiple different chocolate products including bars, truffles, and hollow figures. We are a growing business and are looking to recruit the below position

**Machine Operator**
As a key member of The Sweet People, you will be one of the Machine operators working as part of a close-knit team at our chocolate factory creating our very own range of products.
You will be setting up the machine, packing the freshly made products, tearing the machine apart and cleaning it ready for the next product.
The person we are looking for is someone who likes to get involved and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.

**Duties will include**:

- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Complete daily start up checks
- Set up machines for the particular product being made
- Monitoring the machines to ensure optimum running
- Ensure that the line runs according to assigned production quantity and speed
- Inspection of products and fault finding
- Check and adjust product weight to meet specifications
- Maintain machines as a team with the Technical Manager & Production Supervisor.
- To understand and to be able to effectively run multiple chocolate machinery.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
