In this position you will be out and about in the community, driving within Oxfordshire. You'll be providing **vital **domiciliary eyecare to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Making patients really happy whilst learning new skills and having a different adventure every day. Imagine leaving work each day with a real sense of achievement. You can have all of this plus only **work Monday to Friday **with a job in Specsavers Domiciliary.

Your main Optical Assistant responsibility will be to provide support to the Optometrist when visiting patients in their own homes.

This will include:

- Carrying out handovers with the Optometrist
- Being able to provide a personalised dispensing service to each patient you meet.
- Guiding patients through our offers & products to ensure the right choice.
- Selecting frames, dispensing single vision, bifocals and varifocals.
- Setting up testing equipment
- Fitting and adjusting glasses

Customer care is high on our agenda, so you must love dealing with our more vulnerable members of the community. The optical training will be provided
