Workshop Controller

An ambitious, customer-focused team-player who is an **experienced **and **competent** **WORKSHOP CONTROLLER** is required by a Taunton main dealer. The business represents one of the UK’s most well-known prestigious brands.

You will be the main interface between a 10-member Technician team and the front of house service reception.
- Ensuring that each day’s workload is completed as efficiently as possible.
- Maintaining regular and concise communications between all parties (Technicians, Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, Management and Customers).
- Maximising workshop efficiency, productivity, and volume without compromising on work quality.
- Reporting to the Aftersales Manager over all aspects of workshop performance.

You will plan and organise the team rota and liaise with customers, providing advice and explaining work requirements; a reasonable level of mechanical knowledge is therefore essential, and you must hold a full driving licence (without excess penalty points).
