This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a part time role, but still wants to have the satisfaction of seeing the difference their HR administration skills can make in an organisation.

We are working with a well-established commercial business in Bury St Edmunds to recruit an experienced HR Administrator on a part-time basis. Reporting to the HR Manager, it is envisaged this role will be 20hours per week across 3-4 days and will support the HR function in all areas of administration.

Your role will support the HR Manager, ensuring an efficient and responsive HR administration is provided to the business.

You will:

- Assist in the management of the HR inbox
- Handle basic HR queries, escalating when required
- Support with the employee relations process - producing letters and correspondence.
- HR administration including starters, leavers and amendments to contracts.
- Ensure the HR system is kept up to date.
- Be responsible for the new starter process - Issuing of welcome communications and supporting the onboarding process including right to work documentation.
- Assist the HR Manager with any ad hoc projects, organising charity days and other company functions.

To be successful in this role you will have previous HR administration experience preferably gained in an HR department and be comfortable working in a busy environment. You will be self-motivated, confidential, hardworking and possess well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all members of staff and senior management.
