**Job summary**:
Defence Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Munitions and Search (DEMS) Training Regiment is looking for a motivated and driven individual to join the Stores & Logistics Department in the role of driver labourer.

**Job description**:

The driver labourer is a vital support position within the Stores and Logistics department, with a varied range of indoor and outdoor tasks.
We are looking for someone that has a practical approach to work from assembling furniture, general maintenance to driving equipment in and around our sites. They will demonstrate the ability to react quickly and positively to change and will understand the importance of following manual handling regulations.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Movement of stores and personnel
- Assembly and dismantling of furniture/equipment
- Preparation and maintenance of training areas and training stores
**Person specification**:
A driver labourer role requires a degree of physical ability as you will be expected to lift and carry boxes and equipment around the site (also load / offload vehicles), and place / retrieve items and boxes from shelving that may be above head height. In accordance with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance, the recommended maximum manual handling weight that applicants can expect to lift is men (25kg) and women (16kg).
