Yard Assistant

Our Halifax branch is recruiting for:
**Yard Assistant / Warehouse Operative - Relief Van Driver**

In this role, you will work as part of our external team of staff.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist customers by providing excellent customer service
- Load and unload vehicles
- Pick and check orders, storing stock safely and maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
- You will also be required to make multi-drop deliveries in the surrounding area

**Qualifications and Experience**
- A Counterbalance Forklift license would be advantageous for this role
- Building material / builders merchant industry knowledge is desirable
- A Driving License is essential

- Full UK Driving License (required)

- Halifax, HX1 5PT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
