Rock A Tots Day Nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team at our modern Plymouth site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in early years education and gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards a qualification.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the daily routines and activities of the children under the guidance of experienced staff members
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Contributing to the creation of a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development
- Observing and documenting children's progress and sharing information with colleagues and parents as needed
- Ensuring the nursery's high standards for health, safety, and cleanliness are maintained
- Actively participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

**Requirements**:

- Genuine passion for working with children and a strong interest in early years education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from senior staff members
- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship program and obtaining a relevant childcare qualification
- Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of children and the nursery
