Sports Coach

Are you passionate about using sports to inspire and empower students with diverse needs?

AK Teaching is looking for a dedicated Sports Coach (Learning Support Assistant) to join our team and make a meaningful impact in an SEND provision in Bedlington.

**Role Overview**:

- Working with secondary aged pupils with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours.
- Using sports and physical activities to engage and support students in their learning and development.
- Collaborating with teachers and support staff to create inclusive and stimulating learning environments.
- Providing one-on-one and group support to students during sports sessions.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience working in a similar setting is highly beneficial for this role.
- Passion for sports and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
- Ability to adapt coaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

**Working Hours**:

- Monday to Friday (no weekends).
