**The job itself**:
The East Riding SENDIAS service, provides impartial information, advice and support to parents/carers, children, and young people with special educational needs. This role provides the opportunity be the first point of contact in the service, providing support and advice which has a direct impact on empowering service users to understand their rights in relation to special educational needs legislation and processes.
