Are you currently studying at university in Newcastle and looking for a flexible job? Why not register with Protocol Education?

LSAs support 1:1 and in small groups and are answerable to the class teacher. They are not expected to plan lessons, and are required to help deliver differentiated work and intervention activities.

If you wish to pursue a career within education in the future, this role will look excellent on your CV. Future employers will find it favourable if you have experience working within schools and have interacted with students previously.

You do not have to come from an educational background, we accept people with transferable skills which have been gained through studies, employment, or volunteering.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver planned work to groups and individuals under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Interact with teachers and pupils.
- Manage behaviour iwhich may be challenging.
- Support students' learning.
- Create a positive and productive learning environment.

**Requirements**:

- The right to work in the UK.
- Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
- Is a confident and approachable person.
- Is willing to work flexibly on a day-to-day bases.
- Has good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
