Working Pattern - 37.5/week - all year round

Description

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and innovative Screening Assistant to work within the 0-19 service as part of the School Nursing team.

PLEASE NOTE - THIS POST IS FOR NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE

You will be expected to work within the team, but also independently in schools to carry out this role, following specific policies, guidelines and protocols.

Your role will be delivered across all primary school settings in North Lincolnshire therefore access to transport and the ability to travel to a range of venues and settings is essential.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with children and families in either a school or community setting and is able to evidence an understanding of Public Health initiatives and programmes.

Experience of completing care plans, records and audits would be beneficial, as would the ability to demonstrate basic computer skills.

You will be making contact with children and families face to face and over the phone, so effective communication skills are essential.
