We’re looking to offer a salary of £30,000.00 per annum. In addition, we offer 31 daysholiday pay (including bank holidays) access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Create and implement cost effective transport schedules for Food Service contracts using Paragon planning software
- Planning peak schedules such as Christmas & Summer to ensure the network is correctly resourced and additional costs are aligned with the budget
- Ensure vehicles across the network are planned to be fully utilised and reduce vehicles scheduled per day per site
- Complete analysis of the planned KPI’s vs actual vs budget. Any variations to plan need to be challenged/understood
- Control costs in line with budgets and propose initiatives that will support cost reductions

**What skills you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experience within a planning or operations environment that demonstrates the capability to schedule and implement a paragon schedule
- Results orientated, willing to take ownership for achieving targets
- Financially and commercially aware
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement
