**Transportation Analyst**

**Monday - Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-13:00**
**Larne, Northern Ireland

**6 months Contract
**Contracted position working for a world leading manufacturer producing off-highway machinery, diesel and natural gas engines.**

As a Transportation Analyst, you will be required to:

- Portray a commitment to data quality and control of performance on dedicated lanes.
- Analyse reports, dashboards, and KPIs to make sure the best strategies are used to cut down on dealer inventory lead times and eliminate waste in the shipping process.
- Identify process control and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with consumers and supply chain partners through proactive communication.
- Maintain communication with service providers and facility transportation staff to coordinate, route, and direct shipments in an affordable manner.
- Create and carry out regular volume predictions for capacity planning in conjunction with main transport suppliers.
- Provide mechanisms for capacity planning and controlling changes to the supported business.
- Create and record procedures for standardisation and ongoing development.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the needs of both customers and company products.

The Transportation Analyst should have the following experience or qualifications:

- Transportation experience
- Good IT skills and Microsoft Office experience
- Project management skills/knowledge
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
