The School of Science, Engineering & Environment aims to transform the quality of life for society and the well-being of future generations through a better and more sustainable future. We are a diverse school offering students programmes from Architecture to Zoology. The SEE school is unstoppable and home to many of the university’s flagship commercial services. We are looking to appoint a colleague whose role will be key in supporting the student journey and ensuring our students have the best experience.

Enabling students to succeed is the cornerstone of our provision here at the School of Science, Engineering and Environment. One key measure of success for students is seeing out their studies through to graduation, ultimately gaining a degree and the skills needed to go out and achieve their goals.

Alongside a supportive team of school-based colleagues, academics and support services, the Student Progression Advisors play a key role in supporting student retention. As experts in university policy and procedures, they are a key contact for students who find they are struggling with their studies and ensure our students get the tailored support they need to succeed.

It’s an exciting time to join the team as we look to develop innovative ways to support our students with a focus on proactive rather than reactive work, and we are investing in this area to make that a firm focus.
