Loft Boarding Surveyor

We are a family run loft boarding business and have been growing successfully for the past few years. Due to our previous successes, we are looking to grow our team further and are looking to recruit an experienced motivated, Loft surveyor. This is a role that would need previous estimating/surveying experience. The job involves surveying and measuring customers attics with a huge degree of accuracy and detail, to then recommend the right tailored loft boarding solutions. You will cover East Anglia and London regions and will report directly to the managing director, all your appointments (5-6 a day) will made by our inhouse team, you will be spending most of your working day out in the field conducting customer surveys, the remaining time will be spent completing quotes, which must be sent out within 48 of completion of the survey. We pride ourselves on our customer service at the Attic Guys and always go above and beyond to offer the best solution for each customer, in a timely manner.

You will need to be a problem solver, with experience of quoting, surveying to domestic customers. Accuracy and attention to detail are an absolute must and industry experience would be a huge advantage.

Product and installation training is provided but you will need to have a good knowledge of carpentry and construction best practices, Experience in loft boarding, Loft Ladders or Loft Conversions would be a distinct advantage

Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.

Have a flexible approach, be a motivated self-starter and willing to learn, have a can-do attitude.

Excellent time keeping is needed.

Be competent and be able to work on own initiative

Have a high level of problem-solving skills

Have excellent written and oral communication skills

Be reliable & trustworthy

Fully computer literate and willing to travel.

**Salary**: Your starting salary will be £34k, but will be regularly reviewed, along with a generous bonus scheme for achieving set targets.
