Dealer Auction is the UK’s largest automotive digital wholesale marketplace, offering our customers confidence, convenience and choice. Dealer Auction is a joint venture between Cox Automotive and Auto Trader.

With thousands of cars taken in part exchange each year nationwide, Dealer Auction offers trade buyers/sellers the opportunity to buy and sell trade cars direct from franchised main dealers as well as Fleet and OEM. We offer dealers access to vehicles they wouldn’t normally have access to, through an easy-to-use platform that bids automatically on their behalf.

Our customers have all year-round 24/7 access to inventory, enabling them to bid online for stock they might otherwise not be able to buy. Using an intelligent bidding system Buyers can place a “Maximum Bid" on a listed vehicle or buy now and it will bid on their behalf. This gives Buyers the opportunity to buy a vehicle without the need to constantly monitor the auction and sellers a platform knowing the most eyes are looking at their listings.

**Scope of Role**:
We're looking for someone energetic and motivated to join us as a Consumer Sales Negotiator**,**

Mainly focusing on sales. In this role, you'll be handling bids from consumers selling cars, connecting more with our current buyers, and reaching out to find new ones

**Objectives for Role**:
Provisional Bids Management:

- Handle all provisional bids from buyers bidding on consumers cars with efficiency and precision.
- Assess and evaluate bids to determine their viability and potential for conversion.
- Engage with sellers to provide guidance and information, ensuring a positive experience throughout the provisional bid process.

Buyer Engagement:

- Enhance engagement with current Dealer Auction buyers through proactive communication and relationship-building.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products to existing buyers.
- Collaborate with the sales team (both Dealer Auction & Auto Trader) to develop strategies for retaining and growing the buyer base.
- Actively prospect and identify potential new buyers for the Dealer Auction platform.
- Conduct outbound sales calls to attract and onboard new buyers, effectively communicating the value proposition of the platform.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective buyers to achieve sales targets.

Sales Performance Metrics:

- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Track and analyse key performance indicators related to provisional bids, buyer engagement, and new buyer acquisition.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and areas for improvement

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in tele-sales or a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment.
- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with the automotive industry and online auction platforms is a plus.
