The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Stores Supervisor in the acquisition of goods and services for all theatre areas.
To assist in maintaining an efficient stock control system to ensure the continuity of service. To take part in the continuous monitoring and recording of all inventory related processes.
To be responsible for ordering through the Purchasing / Stock Management systems and rotating adequate supplies of stock in the theatre complex, with reference to expiry dates.
Inputting goods received on to the Purchasing / Stock management systems, and chasing outstanding deliveries.
To monitor stock levels in line with fluctuations in usage, using any existing stock control system, informing the stores supervisor of any shortages and
recommending changes.
To provide a support service to the Theatres department for the acquisition of goods and services including hired implants and equipment.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
