Adaero Precision Components is a thriving and busy CNC engineering company, in business since 1988 and based in the bustling Devon market town of Crediton. We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join us in a newly profiled role to be based in our Crediton Offices. This is an opportunity to engineer a career in the sector and upon successful completion of probation we will enrol onto an industry recognised IoSCM diploma as a commitment to your career development. This is a full time position and we work a 4.5 day week with Friday afternoons off.

**About the Role**:
Our Junior Buyer will work within the Operations Team and provide comprehensive support and administration throughout the Sales, Material Requisitioning and Manufacturing Processes. They will follow the journey of an order from initial enquiry using our information systems to determine whether parts are in stock or require manufacture. Initiating and monitoring necessary work orders so that parts are either made to order or for stock whilst having oversight of raw material ordering and processing to ensure work orders can start on time. They will feedback to our customers throughout this journey.

**Tasks and responsibilities will fall under the following key areas**:

- Customer liaison and purchasing
- Ordering raw materials and services
- Workflow monitoring
- Goods In administration

**About You**:

- Be analytical, solution oriented and able to deal with a fast-moving environment.
- Be a team player and able to adapt to urgent business need
- Be a decisive thinker and able to analyse information quickly and use it to make robust decisions.
- Manage their time and workload effectively, being highly organised whilst also paying attention to detail
- Have experience working in a fast-paced purchasing or finance function
- Be highly numerate and compute literate particularly with Microsoft outlook and excel
- Be confident liaising with vendors and suppliers
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with others
- Working knowledge of progress plus or a similar system (desirable)
- Hold IoSCM Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or have willingness to work towards
