We are working in partnership with an amazing Secondary School based in Lambeth who are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable Science Tutor to join them in September to teach both 1:1 students and small groups.

**Responsibilities of a Science Tutor**:

- Plan and deliver tutoring sessions to students in various sciences such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- Provide weekly review feedback to students, parents, and guardians.
- Provide a motivating learning environment which helps promote academic growth.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Scientific research.
- Provide 1:1 or small group tutoring sessions to students to support all learning types and needs.
- Create lesson planning in conjunction to the current learning curriculum.

**About you**:
You should be passionate about promoting academic growth for all students with all learning needs. You will regularly assess their understanding, ensuring constructive feedback is provided to monitor progress. You will be educated to a degree level in a science related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

Prior teaching or teaching experience KS3-KS5 would be an advantage.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
