Are you an experienced Mental Health Practitioner looking for a new challenge, leading a small team of clinicians?We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic and experienced MHP to join the South Waveney Alliance Network as theLead Mental Health Practitioner.

NSFT and the Norfolk & Waveney Primary Care Networks (PCNs) have come together in partnership to embrace integrated mental health care delivery for our local population. The South Waveney Alliance Network is made up of the following five General Practices; Sole Bay Health Centre (Southwold), Bungay Medical Practice, Longshore Surgeries (Kessingland, Cutlers’ Hill Surgery and Beccles Medical Centre who together care for 53,200 patients.We have opportunities for a Mental Health Practitioner to work in Sole Bay and Bungay, another in Beccles and one at Cutlers Hill and Longshore Surgeries.

As the Lead MHP you will line manage the Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners, with responsibility for the day to day operational and clinical work. You will provide advice, support, and treatment for patients experiencing problems with their mental health and wellbeing. You will collaboratively engage with the GP practices within the PCN and the other PCN Practitioners to agree priorities for each local population.

We are looking for strong and proven registered clinicians who can take responsibility for decision making whilst supporting colleagues to grow their own knowledge and understanding of mental health needs within the wider general practice setting.

Applicants should have a background in mental health care and be able to demonstrate a dynamic approach to drive the quality agenda towards providing excellent integrated patient care.
