Working in partnership with leading universities, the Pearson Online Learning Services (POLS) International teams provide online learning services including marketing, student recruitment, course content development, training and ongoing student support. **About the job**

We are looking for a CRO Specialist who can take our approach from ad hoc testing to regular testing and make insight driven optimisations. This is a new role that will evangelise our iterative web design process to improve user experience and conversions. You will interpret web analytics, formulate testing hypothesis; as well as design and test implementation, working closely with our in house web developers.

As the UX expert in the team, it is crucial you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and contributing to a collaborative and high performing team culture. You will be a key in embedding our _test and learn_ way of working within the POLS business unit.

One of the most exciting factors of the role is the opportunity to work across different websites and, university brands. There’s plenty of opportunity for a tenacious individual to test different tactics, learn from experience, and influence the marketing strategy.

This role will be reporting to the Web and CRO Manager. They will also be working with a team of web developers, SEO experts and digital content producers on the delivery and optimisation of all the web platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**CRO Strategy and roadmap development**
- Interpret web analytics and engagement reports to develop the CRO strategy and roadmaps. Highlight quick wins to boost conversions and use data to formulate hypotheses.
- Develop and present strategy documents and help maintain the roadmaps.
- Oversee the delivery of the CRO strategy and ensure priority tactics get implemented.

**Tracking, analytics and reporting**
- Identify and set up any gaps in our conversion tracking.
- Work with the Marketing Managers and agencies to manage the Google Analytics, Hotjar, Google Tag Manager accounts.
- Create and present post-test reports, advising on the best way forward.
- Assist with monthly web performance reporting.

**UX design**
- Conduct user research to identify the needs of the customer to optimise conversions.
- Design and present wireframes and design mock-ups for stakeholders; working with the web developer to bring the incremental changes to life.

**Testing and implementation**
- Choose and onboard a new A/B testing tool (currently we use Google Optimize).
- Create tests plans and prioritise tests.
- Configure A/B and other testing of web pages.
- Implement insight driven changes on website - back and front-end working with web developers, SEO experts and digital content producer
