An opportunity exists for a Supper Cook to join our team at Meadowcroft a home specialising in person-centred care of the elderly.

Applicants will likely have experience of working in a similar environment, be enthusiastic, an effective communicator, have high standards, and be sensitive to the needs of the elderly.

Working hours are 16:00 to 19:00 Monday, Thursday, Friday.

**We are looking for a person who**:

- can prepare simple light meals, meeting all dietary requirements
- is able to follow individual care plans
- can be considerate & kind with residents and visitors
- will meet our kitchen cleaning schedules,
- will maintain hygiene, health and safety, infection prevention control, and fire safety requirements at all times
- can ensure safe operation of all cleaning
- Is capable of monitoring stock levels
- Is likely to hold a current Food and Hygiene Certificate or be willing to undertake training to obtain this.
- has good time management
- can bring positive energy to work
- aspires to work with an innovative care business
- can work independently as well as part of a team

**In return, you can expect**:

- a salary of £10.75 per hour weekdays, £11.25 per hour weekends
