Our client provides a full range of solutions to enable total fleet mobility including contract hire of bespoke commercial vehicles, short term rental and fleet management. **Role and Responsibilities**:
We are currently recruiting for a Depot Driver to join the team based at the depot in Enfield. The main purpose of the role would be:

- Collecting and delivering vehicles
- Cleaning all vehicles and preparing them prior to delivery to clients
- Completing paperwork, check sheets and rental agreements
- Ensuring all vehicles are checked and cleaned to a high standard to present a professional image to customers.
- Act in a courteous and professional manner whilst maintaining a high level of personal appearance and wearing company uniform at all times.
- Ensuring all vehicles are SQI checked prior to delivery, reporting any defects in line with the SQI checklist to ensure that all vehicles are legally compliant.
- To ensure vehicles are collected or delivered in line with the customers and employers’ expectations to ensure high levels of customer service and customer retention.
- Ensure that all rental vehicles have a signed rental check sheet and rental agreement at collection and delivery.
- To ensure LRQA and ISO standards are always adhered to contributing to the retention of these schemes.
- Assisting with internal and external audits and taking specific actions as instructed where non-conformances occur.
- Complying with all HSE procedures to ensure a safe working environment, reporting all accidents and environmental incidents and taking action as appropriate.
- Ensuring the yard is free from obstruction and that parking is controlled.
- Building and developing relationships with customers to ensure high levels of continued and new business.
- Carry out vehicle familiarisation with customers where necessary.
- Resolve customer issues at a low-level escalating where necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Have a minimum of 1-year experience driving commercial vehicles
- Have a minimum of Class 2 licence - Class 1 is preferred
- Confident working on various types of commercial vehicles, including tractor units and hooking up to trailers.
- Current Driver CPC.
- Attention to detail for completion of all paperwork.
- Ability to carry out vehicle walk-around checks & note any/potential defects.

Hours - Monday - Friday shifts between 07:00 - 17:30

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
