**The Opportunity**

WVHT has an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to commence their career/develop their career with a great company. We are looking for a driven, diligent, and friendly Home Moves Assistant to join our team.

The Trust is looking for a self-motivated, proactive Home Moves Assistant to join our Home Moves Team. The team manages the allocation of all our vacant properties for rent, delivering a seamless, co-ordinated approach to the letting of Trust properties.

**What Will You Do?**
- Support the delivery of a customer focused Lettings service, ensuring empty properties are re-let quickly and in accordance with relevant legislation, regulation, policy, and procedure.
- Lead on and work with the customer to manage the termination process, identifying and communicating any issues, which may impact upon the successful termination of the property e.g., property is left in an acceptable condition and keys returned to the Trust on time.
- Support the advertising of Trust properties, using a commercial approach and platforms where appropriate e.g., Rightmove, to maximise marketing opportunities and keep void rent loss to a minimum.

**Minimum Requirements For This Role**
- 3 GCSE’s (Grade C or above) Or Experience of working in a Social Housing Allocations Team.
- Experience of working with a wide range of customers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate proficient use of Microsoft Office packages
- Customer Focused
- Creative and innovating
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additionally, due to the flexible working arrangements with this role, you will need access to a room where you can work from and a suitable internet connection.

**Our Team**

In this role you will be working alongside a fantastic team of professionals to provide effective and efficient administration support to the Home Moves Team.

This includes offering advice and information to customers and partner agencies relating to the Local Authority’s Common Allocation Policy, and the Trust’s lettings process for homes and garages.

Responsible for the marketing and letting of empty garages to maximise income to the business.

Using a person-centred approach, adapt our response to both Neighbourhood and Customer Needs, resulting in thriving communities with sustainable tenancies and increased customer satisfaction.

You will be expected to have excellent time management, organisational and prioritisation skills to keep up in a fast-paced and busy environment. You will need the ability to work independently when required, but with the common sense to know when to seek guidance and advice from your colleagues.

The post holder must also demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent customer service with a focus on the needs of the customer and possess good verbal and written communication skills.
