Mig Welder/fabricator

**Role**:Fabricator/Welder

**Location**:Banbury

**Reports to**:Workshop Foreman/Assistant Foreman

**Direct Reports**:None

**Primary Purpose**

Assemble & fabricate materials accurately and within the required timeframe for our customers/construction projects. Weld mechanical parts of our materials to a high standard using required tools/equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure health & safety practices /processes are followed at all times.
- General fabrication and welding duties.
- Cut, drill and weld plates onto equipment.
- Read drawings and fabricate projects as per specifications.
- Complete welding duties on less complex projects.
- Any other ad-hoc workshop duties as required such as painting, gas cutting, metal folding.

**Experience/Education /Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of the Steel, Construction Industry to enable understanding of client requirements and to question/probe further where required.
- Has worked in construction/fabrication or another similar/related field to a minimum of Level 3.

**Salary**: £11.50-£15.72 per hour
