Established in 1837, Smith Bradbeer is a family-owned independent company with three Department Stores, two Furniture Stores, a Removals & Storage company, and a Furniture Rental service. The company also has property assets leased to tenants.

We are seeking to recruit a Stockroom Assistant to work at the Romsey Department Store. The full-time role is Monday - Friday, but some occasional weekends may be required.

Role Requirements:
Attention to detail and strict deadlines.

A collaborative and strong team player.

A positive 'can do' attitude.

Reliable and punctual.

Physically capable of lifting and carrying stock items and boxes.

Role Responsibilities:
Able to prepare and label stock accurately.

Assist with receiving, checking, and coding deliveries accurately and efficiently.

Unpacking and preparing stock for the sales floor.

Ensure stock reaches shop floor as promptly as possible when required.

Keeping breakages to a minimum, accurately recording damaged stock.

Completing price changes.

Assisting with stock counts/stocktakes.

Sales Floor cover if required.

Liaising with suppliers and delivery companies.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- retail: 1 year (preferred)
- Stockroom: 1 year (preferred)
