**The Bike Shed** have 4 locations throughout Devon and stock a wide range of bikes and accessories with workshops in all stores for services and repairs.

We're independently run with a focus on the local communities we serve. We're trusted by our loyal customer base which is down to our friendly expert staff. We have a number of long serving employees, some with over two decades of expertise and experience

Join our team at our head office in Crediton as our new Bike Builder. We are searching for a hands-on, technically adept individual who values customer service and is ready to get stuck in.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- **Bike Assembly**: Construct bikes with precision, adhering to the highest standards, and perform all necessary checks and inspections.
- **Preparation for Delivery**: Box bikes efficiently, ensuring they are secure and presentable.
- **Accessory and Documentation Inclusion**: Confirm that all bikes are equipped with the necessary chargers, accessories, and relevant literature.
- **Customer Communication**: Manage communications with customers about delivery and collection times.

**Additional Duties**:

- **Order Fulfillment**: Assist with the handling of website orders for accessories and components. This includes locating items in our warehouse or at one of our four stores, packing them securely, and arranging courier services.
- **Customer Interaction**: You will primarily work in the shop/workshop environment, which involves regular interaction with customers.
- **Maintenance Skills**: A basic understanding of bike maintenance is preferable for performing simple repairs.
