**Job description**

Simon Carter Ltd is a global menswear brand, established in 1985. We are stocked in many of the world’s leading department stores and also have our own stand-alone stores. As well as the Simon Carter branded retail and wholesale business we have a thriving private label division, designing and manufacturing products for other brands. Our Head Office in Croydon is in need of an energetic, hardworking and dynamic individual to join the Design team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and detail-orientated Assistant reporting to our Director of Product and Private label.

**Responsibilities**:

- Filing.
- Writing up orders.
- Assist with the processing of orders and respond to other related queries.
- Checking in stock when received from the factory.
- Logging and maintaining customer samples.
- Sending out samples to customers.
- Photographing samples and filling in tech packs for customers.
- Assisting with getting clothing collated for seasonal photoshoots.
- Steaming and preparing outfits for photography.
- Putting stock away after photoshoots.
- Answering the telephone. Dealing with queries and offering information.
- Learning about the products we produce so that you have a good understanding.
- Must be competent in Microsoft Office - excel, word.
- It would be beneficial to have Photoshop and illustrator experience, with the potential of being involved in design work.
- Hard working individual willing to assist wherever needed.
- Individual must be able to adapt and learn on the job.
- Great communication skills with an emphasis on being a team player.
- Problem solving ability.
- Motivated to further grow the business and increase efficiency.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
