Sinclair Taylor Management Services have been providing debt recovery solutions to the lettings and estate agency sector for over 25 years

We are currently recruiting for a Case handler to join our small welcoming team.

Our offices are conveniently located just a short walk from St Neots Town Centre.

**Job Overview;**

A Case handler’s day to day duties will consist of the processing of a selection of accounts assigned to them.

Recovery of debts will be by way of Verbal and written communications to collect debts owed to our clients. Attempted recovery through pre-Legal correspondence and where required, the issue of claims via the County Court.

The Case Handler is part of the Operational team and have the assistance of the Operations Manager and/or the Operations/Technical Director who can be called upon for help and guidance.

**Essential Job Functions;**
- An initial review of all cases received to ensure the information received is correct and will enable recovery.
- Basic trace investigations to confirm additional information which may not have been provided to us.
- The receiving of telephone calls assisting Clients and debtors with questions and queries with the aim of assisting recovery.
- Processing of Debit/Credit Card payments.
- Checks that no insolvency is recorded.
- Obtaining Client permission for the issue of claims.
- Preparation of Documentation (to include Particulars of Claim) to support claims issued.
- Liaising with Clients where required and feeding back any issues or concerns to the Office Manager.
- Working within company guidelines and principals of Sinclair Taylor and in addition those of the Credit Services Association and Court Service.

**Other Skills/Abilities;**
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to Detail
- The ability to work under own initiative but also work as part of a team.
- Assisting team members during high case load periods or during annual leave
- Deal with cases not assigned specifically to you but in the interests of ensuring the collections process continues.

**What we can offer you;**

Starting salary range between £22,000.00 - £24,000.00 depending on your level of experience.

Our usual office opening hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am-17:00pm (9-4.30pm Fridays).

Full time working hours will be 5 days per week with 1 hours Lunch each day.
