A rapidly expanding successful group that encompasses all aspects of the meat trade is recruiting for a Food Technologist to join the Technical Team at our site in Irlam, Manchester on Days. Our business which is a Catering Butcher, has over 100 years’ experience in the meat and farming industries. All products are prepared in the factory daily each customer's specifications, packaged and labelled to and above legislation and then delivered direct throughout the UK.

The post holder will be the Food Technologist for the site and responsible for maintaining all customer specification portals ensuring all information is up to date and accurate.

The main responsibilities:

- Maintain all customer specification portals ensuring all information is up to date and accurate.
- To act as main point of contact for all customer queries regarding specifications.
- Check and approve product artwork, packaging and labelling in accordance with customer requirements and current legislation.
- Deal with Customer complaints, Trend analysis and KPI reports for the customers.
- Respond to customer technical requests to meet submission deadlines.

The nature of this role requires a flexible approach to working hours. Core working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm, although hours can be flexible.
