We are looking for a motivated student to join us as a Finance Intern within our shared service center based in central Manchester. You will have exposure to a wide range of financial processes and will assist the process, monitor and reporting on all aspects of accounting for business units across Inizio. Our Intern will report to an Accountant with our team and will play a key role in helping agencies to achieve operational efficiency in the project accounting/finance system.

This role will suit a Finance or Accountancy student who is looking for real world experience with a fast paced multinational company.

To work closely across our finance team and business units by performing the following duties:

- Create billing and revenue recognition contracts in Oracle.
- Support the monthly revenue reconciliation process, including the creation of tidy up billing transactions.
- Input client purchase order and sign offs into the Oracle system.
- Process sales invoice processing and aged debtors.
- Be the lead on specific client invoicing.
- Produce various monthly reports - Portal Checks, Monthly agendas, Unbilled flags, Tidy Up List, Closure List, Recoverability
- Produce weekly reports - Contract List, Missing Timecards.
- Create and maintain project contracts in Oracle.
- Create transactions to move pass through costs and time card postings to relevant areas.
- Project closure including reconciliation - Produce tidy up lists and project close transactions throughout the month.
- Assist with project accounting month end by support inputting percentages and updating funding amounts.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in project accounting role is preferred but not essential
- Competent excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and multi task.
- Self motivated and able to work independently
